Cookie Policy
This website does not set cookies, so there is nothing to accept or reject. The only thing saved in your browser is your choice of settings when you play the Underdogs alpha. This page explains what that covers and what would change it.

The short version
pocketgiant.games does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising, fingerprinting or other tracking technologies. The website's pages store nothing in your browser. The one exception is the Underdogs browser alpha at /underdogs/play/, which remembers the game settings you choose (see below). For that reason there is no cookie banner: the UK rules on cookies and similar technologies (regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, PECR) require consent for storing or reading information on your device unless it is strictly necessary for a service you have asked for, and saving the settings you pick in a game you chose to play is that kind of storage.

The animated background on the home page is drawn by your own device's graphics hardware. It reads your pointer position and your motion preferences while the page is open, but nothing is stored or sent anywhere.
The Underdogs browser alpha
When you play Underdogs at /underdogs/play/, the game saves your chosen match setup (match length and difficulty), camera mode, whether the intro plays and your sound setting in your browser's local storage, so the game remembers them next time. The keys are underdogs.matchSetup, underdogs.camera, underdogs.intro and underdogs.sound. They are not cookies, are never sent to us or anyone else, and stay in your browser until you clear this site's data. This is functional storage, not analytics. If your browser blocks storage, the game still works and simply forgets your choices when you leave.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it, as described in our Privacy Policy. This is server-side processing and does not store anything on your device. Some optional Cloudflare features can set cookies on visitors' devices, for example a bot-protection cookie. If we ever switch on a feature like that, we will list the cookie here.
Other sites we link to
Our links to social media, the App Store and our games take you to other websites. Those sites, including our own game sites, may set cookies. Their cookie and privacy policies apply once you are there. Our games' privacy policy is linked from the Privacy Policy.
If this changes
If we later add anything that uses cookies or similar technologies, such as analytics or an embedded social feed, we will update this page and ask for your consent first wherever the law requires it. Anything that is not strictly necessary will stay switched off until you agree.
Controlling cookies in general
